You can use bathroom silicone sealants for all kinds of jobs in your bathroom. Bathroom sealant is an adhesive and sanitary silicone which protects your walls and surfaces in high condensation and wet areas from coming into contact with water. When it comes to creating new joints with bathroom sealant, there are a number of different products that you can choose from, but the application is generally the same for all of them.

1. Prepare the bathroom sealant. Cut the tip of the cartridge above the screw thread and trim the nozzle to size. Load the cartridge into a standard cartridge gun.
2. Apply. Place the nozzle at the starting point, then press the trigger and apply a steady bead of bathroom silicone sealant.

Clean tools with white spirit before the sealant has dried. Any dry sealant can only be removed mechanically.
