- Clean. To achieve a durable and long-lasting seal, start by preparing the area. Remove any existing sealant from the brick joints and clear away dust, debris, or loose particles. Make sure the surfaces are completely dry and stable before moving on.
- Prepare. Cut off the cartridge tip just above the screw thread, then trim the nozzle to match the desired bead size. If unsure, start small—you can always widen the opening later. Load the cartridge into your sealant gun and get ready to apply.
